Learning The Make Money Formula

When searching for a way to create a residual or passive income online, one will make many mistakes before they ever reach their goal.  It is directly related to the order in which you will learn and understand the things that will bring this all together.

Even though there are millions of ways to make an income it still boils down to someone making a purchase. They exchange their money for your or someone's product, whatever it may be. Getting started in this business is fairly straight forward, you will be selling someone's product or your own.

Even though these steps are broad these are the steps in which to take to accomplish the goal of learning how to make money online or anywhere for that matter.

Prepare to learn:

This is the most important step.

Marketing is a serious business and only individuals willing to take the time to test, learn and work hard will achieve their goals. This is not a 4 hour a week job that you will do in your pajamas, it is serious business if you want results.

Affiliate marketing is all about getting sales. It's not about convincing the visitors to buy something. It's also not about cramming 20 banners  and such on each page, hoping and dreaming that something will work.

It's about getting targeted searchers and visitors that are obviously buyers, based on their behavior, and then simply you give them what they already want. (Much easier than trying to  convince a person to buy your stuff.

There are several ways to achieve this and it is mandatory that you have some type of site, blog or web page that visitors will be able to come to, paid or free advertising leading them there. I know this may put a roadblock in  your path, but look at is as a roadblock to success and you will either overcome it or quit.

You may not understand the first thing about having your own website, or, maybe you do. So much the better if you do. There are free options and paid options, I personally use both.

Whilst there are many people that have much higher qualifications to teach you this than I,  you will always learn little things from several people, and give you a much more rounded view of what you will want to do.

Just so you know up front you may actually have to pay for a service here and there if you really want to learn how to make money online. But you can get going with only your time investment if you focus on what you want to do.

I believe in "Complete Transparency" and I have no intention to mislead you in any way.

Just as a little, "put your toe in the water" so to speak, to start to understand about blogging, writing or whatever you would like to call it, and not spending any money at all, you should check out Hub Pages. This is a blogging  blog-o-sphere (is that a word?) of writers, that write to get readers or write to make an income online. Yes I said that right. Just because you might be a writer does not mean that you will make money writing necessarily.

Content (good content) on sites is a very real and required part to having profitability. and what you write about will determine if you make any money.

So if you are truly interested in making money and have no intentions of becoming a sales person trying to sell the next crazy thing to someone then the first thing we need to do is determine which markets are not only profitable, but viable in terms of the effort that we need to put into them.

Finding a market:

This is the next most important step, to the make money formula, and the entire backbone of the process. If you do not have a market that will buy, then obviously, you will not make money. Also choosing a market with  high competition may delay your income results but is more beneficial in the long run.

There are thousands of different markets to choose from. Some examples are Dog Training, Dating, Fat loss. These are very competitive markets and it will be time consuming and tedious to position yourself in front of your prospective buyers.

When you are doing market research there are some things that you need to know.

• What products are available and which products are selling good
• What is the commission on the product
• How much competition is in this market
• How many searches for this market each day
• What do advertisers pay for advertising in this market

Once you have the answers to these questions than you will start to understand how to make money with this money making formula and why it is important to have this knowledge before investing time which is the most important commodity that we have if you know it or not.
