In this post you will learn why you don't need Scribe SEO to write SEO copy and also how Brian goes bad!
SEO is simply building authority for keywords to reach the highest ranking in the search results.
Front page results obviously brings traffic and sales if you have done the research and rank for what I call "profitable keywords"
You do not need any fancy software to be successful with SEO copywriting.

To get the most out of this lesson you should take the time to read it all. Also new updated screen shot at bottom 25 Mar 2010
(Be sure and read this Scribe SEO Review when you are finished).
I am also conducting an experiment on ranking for low competition keywords. The goal of this experiment is to get a front page ranking with this post for this keyword Scribe SEO.
I am not a copywriter. But…. I do understand how to write and rank for keywords that I choose.
At the Scribe SEO website it states that……
Creating search optimized web pages, blog posts, and press releases used to be time consuming at best and mystifying at worst.
Lot's of people want you to think that SEO is hard to understand and it is not that hard but like most things it has a learning curve. The writing of content will still be time consuming for you at best but less if you outsource. The most work involved in doing SEO is the actual keyword research to find out what keywords are really worth writing about if income is your goal.
Sure writing great posts about a topic that gets a large following of interested readers is great. Having a community where everyone can socialize and get a warm feeling is also superb. If your SEO copywriting goal is to make money than you might need to change what you right about. Simply some topics have no monetization methods available.
Sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too!
Here are my tips for writing SEO copy.
- Put your keyword in the title but don't be bland about it (click to enlarge)

- Write long value giving posts/articles about your profitable keyword (500-1000 words)
- Use your "profitable keyword" about 1% saturation in your content (1 time for each 100 words)
- Don't be shy to use a couple cousin keywords in your post (example) Scribe seo review, scribe seo copywriting
- Don't forget to add a few relevant tags to the post.

Just like magic you have become an SEO copywriting expert!
See that was not that bad……. and I have saved you at least 27.00 per month.
Now you need to see what type of response the owner Brian Clark of Scribe SEO has toward his customers when faced with an honest review.
I was very shocked how he responded to a very professional review of his product. The biggest shocker was that he never actually addresses the concerns that were pointed out in the Scribe SEO Review.
So my question is….Is Brian Clark a Professional Businessman? (click to enlarge)
(dont worry, both links below go to that documented evidence)
My friend Lissie performed an honest Scribe SEO Review after using the product to determine which keywords that the search engines would think she was trying to rank for. You can see that here also Scribe SEO

Do you want to be on the front page? Then realize that on page SEO is only a small factor of what you need to be able to rank in the serps (front page) for the keywords you are going after.
There is allot of work ahead but don't be scared.
Remember these tips before writing if you want to be able to earn a living online….
- Choose profitable keywords
- Analyze the competition with free tools
- Write value giving content with the "profitable keywords"
- Keep things simple and they will be
Within 24 hours after publishing this post here are the search results for my keyword targets. I have position 3 and 4 double indented and did not even try. One is a tag page. Below when I discuss double indented listings it will be between two post pages
In this screen shot you can see lissowerbutts.com is position # 6 (my friend who wrote the review on scribe seo)
Here is my site in position #36 for the same search and no back links have been published to my site at this time.
We will discuss back links in the next post. If you look at the picture below I have two back links in this lesson, each one targeting a different keyword then strengthening the page they are pointing to to rank it for the words that are hyperlinked. Are you starting to understand this seo stuff?
And then for the main target keyword which is Scribe SEO here are the results for the main review and then my site below.
Scribe SEO
You see that seo is very simple to understand.
But don't get confused about the real time investment it will take when you are going to target a large amount of very competitive profitable keywords.
In the next post I will explain how to get a double indented listing between two post pages using the keyword search phrase "Scribe SEO" as an example.
Seeing the competing pages is just the beginning of your analysis. The most important focus when researching is the strength of your competition. This will determine the amount of work that will have to be performed to outrank them in the search engine results.
Here is an example of the indented listing I mentioned earlier. Be sure and watch what happens on this search page (results 1-10) over the next few weeks for this keyword search.
Update on this experiment: Ok it is now 25th March 2010 20 days later….here is a new screen shot for the search term I wanted to rank on the front page for. Be sure and see the change from this previous shot (above) to the new one (below).
Remember that just because it's easy does not mean that it isn't allot of work. Implementing(taking action) is the highest standard of achievement because you will learn from your mistakes when you keep at it.
Cheers
Dirk
